Quinta da Cortiça
Located in Alvaiázere, this farm carries the memory of multiple generations and has been in the same family for over 300 years.
On this farm, olive oil production, forest cultivation and cattle breeding were practised. Until the end of the 20th century, the land was grazed by a herd whose milk was used to produce cheese.
Currently, although it still maintains some agricultural activity, the property is undergoing a certification process to become an organic production mode. However, some agricultural spaces have been converted into tourist facilities.
