Citrine yellow in colour. Aromas of citrus, lemon leaf, green apple and stone fruit, with a subtle floral note. Medium-bodied, with some richness, fresh, and a well-balanced finish.

| Soil | Produced in Barcelos on the Cávado Sub-Region from vines in the Cotovia single vineyard. Here the soil is granitic, with medium grain and an average altitude of 85m and comes from their oldest vines planted in the early 1990’s. The vineyard is around 1ha with single downward cordons and a low yeld. The grape production is certified as “Integrated Production” (EU environmentally friendly practices). |
| Winemaking | Hand-harvested into 20kg boxes. The grapes are fully destemmed. Fermentation takes place entirely in stainless steel with temperature control. The wine is aged on fine lees with bâtonnage for 4 months prior to bottling. |
