Grandmother Maria Celeste, born in Lisbon, learned to play the piano from an early age. When she was 17, her parents sent her to Arosa (a small village in the municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto) to look after her great-uncle, who was ill. Her great-uncle´s doctor was Dr. António Camilo Pacheco Pereira Leite, owner of Quinta da Venda. As a result of Dr. Camilo´s many visits to his home, the two fell in love and later married and had four children. As Grandfather Camilo was always on his medical tours to several towns and villages in the county, it ended up being Grandmother Celeste who took care of the business of producing Vinho Verde. As well as being a real source of work, and even an inspiration, Grandma Celeste also enlivened family evenings by delicately playing her piano.
Floral exuberance, red fruits (raspberry and strawberry) with slight notes of oak. On the palate, have a good structure, fresh and elegant, marked by red fruits. The finish is very smooth, pleasant and long.
