From very poor soils, located between 100m and 400m in altitude, the brothers Jorge and Pedro Barroso Pereira, took the risk of planting a vineyard. Defying the classic profile of Alvarinho, this Reserva expresses a very unique terroir, with some creativity to the mix and the mastery of the winemaker Márcio Lopes.
It has a greenish color, with an intense aroma, with a tropical touch and a slight vegetable. Wine with acidity present but well balanced in the mouth, ending long and persistent.

Casa do Barroso is a family home that has been maintained with care from generation to generation. It has now been restored to the modernity of our day, while retaining traces of what it once was. All the original stone was kept, as well as delicious details such as the "loveseats" by the windows.
Located in the quiet village of Cunhas in Cabeceiras de Basto, where time still lags, it is the perfect location for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
