Soil Soil: schistose, with medium clay content and of granite origin with a sandy texture.
Winemaking Manual harvesting by grape variety. Light crushing of the berries followed by gentle pressing. Static clarification. Fermentation under controlled temperature in stainless steel vats followed by ageing on fine lees until the end of February.

The Palmeirim D'Inglaterra wine of owes its name to a famous 17th century cavalry novel. XVI, written by the Francisco de Moraes, common ancestor of the owners of these farms. "De by Si muy bueno", this is how Miguel Cervantes described this work in Don Quixote De la Mancha. The label was designed by Augusto Cid, a famous Portuguese cartoonist.
