The property has been in the same family for over a century. The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and its rich shale and limestone soils give this wine unique characteristics of freshness, balanced acidity and minerality.
Produced with the Arinto and Fernão Pires grapes from 50 year old vines, it has a citrus color with a bouquet where the mineral and forest aromas are present, with a fresh flavor with mineral notes and an excellent crispy acidity.

Herdade do Cebolal is located on the Costa Alentejana, at the southern end of the demarcated region of the Peninsula Setúbal, near the village of Vale das Éguas, about 17 kilometers from Santiago do Cacém and 10 kilometers from the Atlantic.
The estate has been in the family for over a century. The vineyards of the estate are situated on the Costa Alentejana, ten kilometers from the sea.
The mild climate with sunny days and cool nights influences the maturation of the grapes and the soil rich in shale and limestone gives it unique characteristics. Work on the vineyard has been very careful with minimal irrigation, looking for quality grapes. The defoliation in the area of the bunches for a better sun exposure south / west guarantees a suitable maturation.
