It has an exotic and complex aroma. The elegant notes of pinaceous resins along with a balsamic vegetable and hints of pepper, nutmeg and cloves. The fruit is red, fresh and very ripe. In the mouth the tannins are true background runners, powerful, light, very robust and tasty, give a magical support to the fantastic fruit that leaves a long and drawn finish that wipes the mouth.

Soil Very old vineyard in the Serra de São Mamede, Portalegre, exposed to the east and at an altitude of 598 meters, with about 14 different varieties.
Winemaking The whole grapes with the stink were crushed on foot in a cement mill, fermented for 10 days with indigenous yeasts.
Aging 23 months in very old French oak barrels.

The family project came about as a way of restoring the traditional farming system. A system where Man lives from Nature and with Nature, in subsistence farming, poor in resources but perfectly integrated into the landscape and the balance of the ecosystem.

The viticulture is free of chemicals and is part of a project to restore the traditional farming system. They decided not to pull up a single century-old grapevine, but rather to restore the vineyard maintaining the many existing varieties. The vineyard is consolidated with olive groves and fruit trees and with all kinds of native herbs and flowers - the "Mediterranean" theater. In the fight against diseases, the great difference that exists between organic farming and the conventional method is that, in organic farming the fungicides do not penetrate in the tissues of the plant. Biodynamic, is an agricultural philosophy that uses all kinds of organic and natural stimulation to strengthen plants and vivify the soil - making it healthy and airy. Biodynamics intensifies the natural expression of plants.
