It is a white wine with a rich, complex aroma where ripe fruits and some balsamic herbal tea with lightly smoked notes and minerals. It comes in very soft and velvety in the mouth, it remains in fine and elegant proof as the center of the mouth is enlarged to finish in a wide end, rich, deep and full of flavor.

Soil Very old vineyard located at the outskirts of the Reguengo village, in Serra de S. Mamede (the unique mountain above 1000 meters’ altitude in the South of Portugal). The vineyard faces eastward, at an altitude of 598 meters, and the soil is granitic (Ordovician).
Winemaking Harvest one month earlier than normal. Started on August 16, 2017, ended on August 24, 2017. Healthy grapes were harvested and crushed. The resulting must decanted naturally for 48 hours. Natural yeast fermentation took place in 9 old casks. The fine lees maturation lasted until the end of July 2018. The wine in the 9 old casks was bottled on August 22, 2018 without fining agents and without filtration.
Aging 12 months in old oak barrels.

The family project came about as a way of restoring the traditional farming system. A system where Man lives from Nature and with Nature, in subsistence farming, poor in resources but perfectly integrated into the landscape and the balance of the ecosystem.

The viticulture is free of chemicals and is part of a project to restore the traditional farming system. They decided not to pull up a single century-old grapevine, but rather to restore the vineyard maintaining the many existing varieties. The vineyard is consolidated with olive groves and fruit trees and with all kinds of native herbs and flowers - the "Mediterranean" theater. In the fight against diseases, the great difference that exists between organic farming and the conventional method is that, in organic farming the fungicides do not penetrate in the tissues of the plant. Biodynamic, is an agricultural philosophy that uses all kinds of organic and natural stimulation to strengthen plants and vivify the soil - making it healthy and airy. Biodynamics intensifies the natural expression of plants.
