Fresh, tense, crystalline, elegant and full-bodied, saline mouth asking for another glass. Tasty, long and intense wet granite finish.

Soil Several vineyards between 50 and 130 years old on granite soils.
Winemaking Natural methods focused on the expression of the land and the climatic year.
Vinification without the use of enzymes or oenological products, except for very low doses of sulfites.
Alcoholic fermentation by indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation also took place.
Aging Aged for almost two years. First year 50% in 500L barrels (French and Austrian oak) and 50% in stainless steel. The final blend extended the ageing process for a further 10 months in stainless steel.

Harmonizations Oven-baked fish, cod dishes, poultry, white meats and Serra da Estrela cheese.

Since 2010 António Madeira, a Portuguese-descendant Frenchman with family roots in Dão, Serra da Estrela, has been researching and growing old vines located in special places. With passion, dedication and precision, applying methods that are respectful for the life of the soil and that facilitate the expression of the terroir in the wines. It does not use herbicides and works the soils manually with hoes and the help of a horse.
The philosophy of winemaking is focused on the search for expression of the terroir of the Serra da Estrela, using no oenological product other than sulphurous.
