Quinta de Amares, covering an area of approximately 50 hectares, is located in the municipality of Amares, at the heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, in the small village of St. André de Rendufe, a place of deep and historic religious traditions. Adjacent to the Monastery of Rendufe, the estate enjoys a sunny, south-facing exposure and unique climatic conditions. The combination of soil, climate, and grape variety on this property allows for the production of wine of exceptional quality.
These young white wines, which have won numerous awards, are produced in four varieties from selected grapes of the Loureiro, Alvarinho, Arinto, and Trajadura varieties. They are characterised by a pale lemon colour, a clear and bright appearance, a fruity and harmonious aroma, and a smooth, slightly dry taste.
Quinta D'Amares incorporates sustainable environmental management across all its wine production activities, with a primary focus on developing methods, processes, and products that minimise environmental impact and promote a balanced use of natural resources.
