Albamar is a family winery that began its journey approximately 25 years ago linked to the care of the vineyards and the production of Albariños with a unique character and special personality. In 2006, one of the family's sons, Xurxo Alba Padín, took over the reins of the winery, dedicating himself body and soul to winemaking.

Bodegas Albamar is located in Cambados and most of its vineyards are on the banks of the mouth of the Umia River, in the middle of the Arousa estuary. This environment is characterised by its gentle relief, with mainly sandy and clay soils, impregnated by the sea breezes that give the vineyards and the resulting wine a characteristic salinity.

Albamar Albariño is the winery's flagship wine. The vineyards from which it comes from are 25 years old, and the soils are mainly sandy and close to the sea, in the middle of the Ría de Arousa.
