Golden yellow coloured wine presents some notes of ageing. On the nose, it presents notes of ripe orange fruit, some walnut and honey. In the mouth, it is a wine with plenty of volume, good acidity and some tannin. It is a well-balanced wine.

Winemaking	The grapes were crushed and trodden by foot and were in fermentation with the stalk for 5 days. After this period they were pressed and the wine finished the alcoholic fermentation in a vat. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was split into a new chestnut barrel in which the wine did malolactic fermentation and a stainless steel vat in which the wine did not do malolactic fermentation.
Aging	5 months in barrels and stainless steel vats.

This is a project by two winemaking friends, Daniel Miranda and João Meireles, which aims to explore different types of winemaking. The mentality and philosophy change over time and all the wines in the Rebuscado line will mirror the evolution of the two as Winemakers.
