Open ruby colour due to little skin contact. On the nose presents floral notes, red fruits and a smoky/toasted touch. In the mouth, it presents a very fresh and elegant style, with very fine tannins.

| Winemaking | The grapes were harvested at the end of August, dictated by the climatic conditions and ripening of the grapes. The grape bunches were selected and picked by hand. The must have only 2 to 3 days of skin contact in a clay press in order to preserve its freshness and minerality. After skin contact, the must is pressed and finished with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, remaining for 6 to 10 months in contact with fine and thick lees. During this period the malolactic fermentation of the wine naturally occurs. |

Herdade do Cebolal is located on the Costa Alentejana, at the southern end of the demarcated region of the Peninsula Setúbal, near the village of Vale das Éguas, about 17 kilometers from Santiago do Cacém and 10 kilometers from the Atlantic.
The estate has been in the family for over a century. The vineyards of the estate are situated on the Costa Alentejana, ten kilometers from the sea.
The mild climate with sunny days and cool nights influences the maturation of the grapes and the soil rich in shale and limestone gives it unique characteristics. Work on the vineyard has been very careful with minimal irrigation, looking for quality grapes. The defoliation in the area of the bunches for a better sun exposure south / west guarantees a suitable maturation.
