From a single barrel and aged for over two years, this wine is hand-made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Alenquer region, reminiscent of the historic "Pancas wines" of the late 1990s. Fermented naturally with hand-picked grapes, it was a vintage that has never been repeated. This singularity aroused the desire to create a limited edition wine which is also a plastic and multimedia composition. InteGraal is the name that brings together the various arts, wine, music, and ceramics, but also refers to the Holy Grail, as a conception of work, of the beautiful, of the ephemeral.
The artists
The craftsman Paulo Rocha produced and hand-painted 650 unique tiles that could replace the paper on the bottle label. The motifs, traditional, take us back to the Arabic heritage of the southern region of Portugal.
This idea led Stereossauro to work on the soundtrack based on the Portuguese guitar that takes us back to both Fado and the rhythms of the Orient.
Bruno Brandão was in charge of the video clip or is it the wine clip? which accompanies the production of the various arts, in a visual composition that is the project's leading thread.

The project was born when they discovered a wine barrel that was left “apart” in a wine cellar in Palmela, Setúbal. This barrel united 3 ISA master degree students in Viticulture and Enology, who became friends and desired to create wines focusing on science and environment sustainability. The wine was produced 6 months earlier during an internship, and when they found it, it was a trigger to start this journey.
Vinhos APRT3 merges art into wine science. In the winery they do handmade creations based on trial experimentations and recreations of old techniques, and through art, placed in a glass bottle canvas, they want to transform the way to communicate and experience the fermented grape juice.
It is by looking to wine as an aesthetic phenomenon, that they feel the need to connect with different artists each year, so they can express graphically their interpretations of the liquid creations.
They buy the grapes from viticultures all around Portugal, who respect the environment, and they handpicked the grapes, to select the best quality possible. In the winery, wines are treated with the upmost respect for the product and no industry tricks are used, only basic tools and their bare hands. This is why they belong to a small piece of vegan producers in the Portuguese scene.
They create naturally made wines, with science and passion.

O facto de ser uma série limitada a 650 garrafas e com um artwork fantastico só tem pontos a somar. No caso do vinho não posso dizer, pois o mesmo vai ficar na garrafeira por mais algum tempo 😁
