How should I open a sparkling wine?

Tips to keep in mind
> Never shake a bottle of sparkling wine before opening it, as this will cause the cork to come loose in a violent way.
> A bottle of sparkling wine is opened without resting on a table.
> If the bottle is wet due to refrigeration or the ice bucket, wipe it clean or hold it with the help of a cloth napkin.

HOW TO OPEN

1. Removing the wire cage
After removing the foil, turn the tab of the wire guard six times, keeping your thumb on top of the cork and wire guard. Do not remove the wire cage. The stopper and guard will come out at the same time.

2. Rotate
With one hand, firmly hold the cork and the wire guard. With the other hand, turn the bottom of the bottle. With this movement, the wine cork begins to release and start pressing against your thumb.

3. Release
When the cork starts to come loose, press it and very slowly release it with the bottle tilted at a 45º angle and not pointing at a person or object.
