Berbereta Sparkling Brut Nature Reserve White 2021

24,90 €

A citrus-coloured wine with golden hues, fine bubbles and an intense and persistent cord, with aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and green apple, notes of spices, light toasted bread and some minerality. In the mouth it reveals a balanced structure between acidity and volume, with a vibrant vivacity and pleasant unctuousness, which gives it an intense, fresh and long-lasting finish.

Quinta do Porto Nogueira dates from the first half of the eighteenth century and was always owned by the same family. It was donated to the Lisbon Academy of Sciences around 1980. Since 2004 it is a Romana Vini estate. For centuries, Quinta do Porto Nogueira's main culture has been the vineyard, now replenished and planted in its original terroirs, around the houses and the old and new wineries.

The vineyards produce in clay soils, with a natural freshness, without watering, marked by the influence of a natural microclimate from the foothills of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and the proximity to the Atlantic Sea, about 20 km. Quinta do Porto Nogueira vineyards - with the DOC Óbidos category - each vineyard parcel is treated and valued as unique and different, and all wines are produced with the pleasure and well-being in mind.

The natural freshness and salinity are excellent for the production of white grapes Arinto, Alvarinho, Encruzado, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and very conducive to the production of red grapes, with special focus on Pinot Noir and Touriga Nacional grapes.
