Bardino comes from a lineage of old vines. Time inevitably leaves its mark, but the wine remains intense and full of emotion! Bardino has a(l)titude: it ranges from 450 to 630 meters. Acidity isn’t a flaw—it’s character! This Bardino has heart, a touch of fire, and countless stories to tell.
A disarming, challenging, and intense wine with medium body, it shows mentholated notes on the palate, vibrant fruit intensity with firm tannins, excellent balance and freshness, and a long, lingering finish.

Best Enemies is a project by João and Maria.
Together for more than two decades, they recognize that long relationships have moments of pure happiness and challenging moments. Yet the journey only makes sense when it is shared. Even if, at times, their behavior may resemble that of ‘enemies’, the affection and respect they have for each other is the reason they remain together.
Fresh, complex, and deep wines, full of energy, sourced from parcels of very old vines on the Alijó plateau, between 500 and 650 meters of altitude!
