Intense ruby-colored wine, with a good balance between concentration and elegance. The aroma is reminiscent of red and ripe black fruits, well integrated with toasted and spicy notes. On the palate, it presents a firm structure of mature and velvety tannins, with a long and elegant finish.

Born and raised by the true values of friendship, Duas Árvores are the fulfilment of a dream of two old friends who wished to celebrate their Portuguese ancestry. The brand name Duas Árvores (two trees in Portuguese), was inspired by the family names of the two friends, both corresponding to two trees typical of the Douro region. Your wines celebrate friendship.
Quinta da Marcela has 15.5 hectares of vineyards planted between 100 and 550 meters in altitude. The oldest vines are about 40 years old, with several grape varieties and the youngest were planted in 2016.
The main varieties are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Barroca, Mourisco and more recently, Alicante Bouchet, Rufete, Viosinho and Rabigato.
All the Duas Árvore wines are produced in a sustainable agricultural production system, using methods compatible with the protection of the environment.
