Intense and dark purple red colour. Aromas of ripe fruit such as plum, very well integrated. Aromatic persistence with evident evolution in the glass. Dry and robust with a structured body, good acidity, soft and balanced. Overripe cherry fruit and raspberry jam. Rich mid-taste with good volume, balsamic notes and well integrated tannins. Pleasant and very long finish. Typical Douro blend of a powerful and intense wine.

Soil Quinta Alta de Álamos, with 7 hectares of vineyards, located in the parish of Ervedosa do Douro, São João da Pesqueira, in the Cima Corgo sub-region, at an altitude of 550 meters.
Winemaking Manual harvest carried out in crates of up to 20 kg, manual selection on a mat. After destemming, it goes straight to the press, with controlled temperature for maceration with pre-fermentative foot treading also with controlled temperature.
100% of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation.
Aging 70% of the wine was aged for 15 months in used French and American oak barrels of medium toast.

Quinta Alta is the materialization of the dream and audacity of Fernanda Zuccaro and Chico Santa Rita, the Brazilian couple who left São Paulo, Brazil to become wine producers in the Douro.

Result of their resilience and commitment to making wines in the Douro. Leaving political marketing in Brazil as a professional activity, they embraced the Douro to create wines with the profile that the Brazilian imagines the Douro is. There are two Quintas, one for red wines, in "Ervedosa do Douro" and another property in Peso da Régua, for white and rosé wines.

Oenology is conducted by Francisco Montenegro, Fernanda and Chico accompany the entire wine production process; from winter pruning to loading boxes. composed of two properties:

Quinta da Longra de Cima, with 2.8 hectares of vines, is located in the Baixo Corgo sub-region, in the parish of Moura Morta - Vinhós, in the Peso da Régua Council, Vila Real District. It is located at a variable altitude of 450 to 650 metres with the influence of the Serra do Marão, which gives it a good potential for the production of white wines. The tall vines are composed of white grape varieties, Gouveio Real, Malvasia Fina and Viosinho. Native and faithful grape varieties producing authentic Port and Douro wines.

Quinta Alta de Álamos, with 7 hectares of vineyards, is located in the parish of Ervedosa do Douro, in the Council of São João da Pesqueira, District of Viseu in the sub-region of Cima Corgo, an iconic place and reference of excellent quality grapes for Port and Douro wine. The property consists of 1.8 hectares of old vines, over 45 years old and an additional 5.55 hectares of 12-year-old vines on terraces. The old vines are composed of traditional Douro grape varieties and are planted in the same way as before, with several grape varieties mixed in the vineyard. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz are separated on the landing.
