A complex wine with notes of red fruit, spice and well-integrated barrel ageing elements. Precise, full-bodied and fresh, with dense tannins, it has excellent fluidity and finishes long, with notes of fruit.

| Soil | Vineyard located on the Alijó Plateau, in the Douro, grapes grown on terraces at 550 metres altitude and with a south/southwest exposure. |
| Winemaking | Manual harvesting into 20kg boxes. After destemming and crushing, the grapes were immediately cut every 2 hours, a routine that was maintained until the end of alcoholic fermentation, for 7 days. This was followed by a transfer to 228-litre French oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation took place and the wine aged for 18 months. The final blend was filtered through a 0.45-micron membrane at bottling. Prior to release, the bottled wine aged for 12 months in bottle under perfect humidity and temperature conditions. |
