Sílica de Raul Riba D'Ave White 2021

Very pale lemon yellow colour with greenish tinges. The nose has an exuberant aroma, with hints of leaves and passion fruit, together with floral aromas of muscat. In the mouth it is dry, light-bodied, with a vibrant acidity, reminiscent of mine water, due to its freshness and minerality. Passion fruit type combined with lemon, grapefruit and slight cut grass. Finishes dry, vibrant and extremely easy to drink.

| Winemaking | The grapes were destemmed, transferred to stainless steel fermentation tanks and inoculated with selected neutral yeasts. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature (12 to 14ºC). After the end of fermentation, the lees were cleaned to separate the thicker lees and work began on the fine lees for 2 months to increase the breadth of the mouth. |

In this white, the recipe is high-cropped grapes, with the Gouveio variety providing structure, the Viosinho providing freshness and the Moscatel contributing its exuberant fruit.
