Wine with a delicate and elegant aroma, with red fruit and spices, balsamic and tobacco leaf notes. Very fresh, in a set that turns out to be very fine. In the mouth, it has great breadth and complexity, with red fruit, mineral notes, and always fresh with a very elegant structure. Depth and length, foreseeing a good ageing capacity.

Quinta da Costa has been in the family for 6 generations. It is located along the Pinhão River in the heart of the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro Demarcated Region. The vines are located at altitudes ranging from 200 meters to 450 meters, with exposure to south-east, south and south-west, with the best classification of the Demarcated Region, letter A.
It has always been a reference Quinta in the Douro, producing Port wines for the most important Port wine producers, often integrating their Vintages Ports.
In the seventies and eighties, the grandfather of the producer dedicated himself to the reconversion of the vine, expanding the area and mechanizing the vineyard. He decided to keep about 3 hectares of old vineyard in memory of his ancestors. It is with these old vines that they produce their best wines today.
In 2006, after sharing, the Quinta passed into the hands of the current producer, and since then has been dedicated to producing the best grapes and, inevitably, the best wine. Believing in respecting tradition and for the differentiation of quality, invited the winemaker Luis Seabra to help them produce the wines of Quinta da Costa do Pinhão.
