Delicate aroma, fruity, with some toasted notes, where the aroma of white pulp fruit stands out. In the mouth it is fresh, mineral and intense, the finish is long and persistent.

| Soil | A tribute to the river Alva, which gives its name to the sub-region where the vineyards are located, facing south-east at 600m altitude and in granite soils. |
| Winemaking | The harvest took place between the end of September and the beginning of October, according to the ripeness of the grapes. After the harvest, the wine starts a process of fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Fermentation ends in new French oak barrels and the wine ages for about 6 months. |
| Aging | 6 months in new French oak barrels, in contact with the fine lees with weekly bâtonnage. |

A story where secrets transform into wines full of strength and expression, getting the memories in the details of their aromas... the best of the terroir is present in these wines.
Counting already with three generations of history, Quinta do Vale do Cesto, in Oliveira do Hospital, was found in 1987 but its lands have old vineyards, which transform their wine into a memorable and high-quality product.
In 2015 with about 8 hectares of vineyard, assumed a new project of renewal showing the world the best of Dão region.
In 2016, presents its first wines: Muros Vadios White, Red and Rose, Selected Harvest of 2015, and Serra D’Alva Red (2015).
In 2017, presents Alva Magna Red and White (large reserves of 2015).
The 2016 harvests were awarded by the Regional Wine Commission with four medals, two gold for Reds and two silver for whites.
