Casa da Carvalha is located in the municipality of Arganil, built about 200 years ago, and its vineyards are located in the southernmost part of the Dão region.

With a privileged location, Casa da Carvalha has three hectares of vineyards in Mucelão – São Martinho da Cortiça – Arganil, with southern exposure and a slope of half a slope, benefiting from many annual hours of sunshine.

Predominantly, schist soil in an area where granite reigns. The wines produced from selected grapes from the typical varieties of the Dão region: Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz and Alfrocheiro.
