In the lands of Tábua, in the extreme south of Dão, where granite ends and schist begins, this red wine was produced from the varieties Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro, with cherry red color, aroma of red fruits, floral, notes of resin and pine needles. In the mouth it is fresh, persistent and very balanced.

Ladeira da Santa wines are produced in São João da Boavista village (Dão Region) on a hillside facing the mountains of Açor, Arganil and Caramulo.

Located in the extreme south of the Dão region, Ladeira da Santa wines have a unique character due to the nature of their soils, climate and grape varieties. The vineyard is in transition from granitic to schist soil, giving wines a unique aromatic minerality and complexity.

With 10 hectares of vineyard, Ladeira da Santa wine is produced from traditional grape varieties from the Dão Region, such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz or Alfrocheiro for the reds and Encruzado, Verdelho or Malvasia Fina for the whites.

As a family company, Ladeira da Santa invests in the production of high quality wines, reconciling the use of new technologies with traditional techniques.Throughout the year, the vineyard is subjected to several operations to control the quality of the vines and the soil, in order to obtain better grapes and, consequently, high quality wines.

As a result of the work developed, brand recognition has appeared in several competitions and specialized magazines.
