A.M.O. stands for “I love” in Portuguese, and it also stands for the initials of its creator and founder, Margaret Orlowski. Margaret learned to home-brew in Canada, and continued hobby brewing after moving to Lisbon. People loved the taste of her many experimental recipes, and this pushed her to brew more. She formally launched AMO Brewery in late 2016, and has since been brewing by herself and with friends, volunteers, and team members.
