Borraçal

Borraçal variety is one of the most cultivated red wine grape in the Vinho Verde region. It is cultivated in almost the entire region, where it is also known as Esfarrapa or Bogalhal, among other designations. The bunches are small and conical shaped. The grapes are medium sized end  not uniform. The wines from Borraçal grape are ruby coloured with high degree of acidity.
