Malvasia Preta
It is an old grape variety originating from the northeast of Portugal. Douro and Dão are the regions where widely planted and is often present in old vineyards. It gives has high acidity and is used with other grape varieties. It produces a medium-red colour wine with a reduced floral aroma and no persistence in the mouth.
