Terrantez do Pico
Terrantez do Pico is an old variety that was on the verge of extinction. It only existed in Pico Island, so it was named Terrantez do Pico to avoid confusion with others with a similar name. The almost impenetrable lava soil and salinity give these wines a distinctive mineral and volcanic character. Pico Terrantez wines have a blend of citrus and floral aromas with saline notes.
