Rabo de Ovelha

A native Portuguese grape variety, traditional of the Alentejo region, it is present in almost all sub-regions where it was very important in the past. It is a very robust and productive grape variety. It produces wines rich in acids and not very alcoholic. For this reason, it is used in blends with lower acidity grape varieties.
The wines, with light citric tones, are moderately aromatic. In the mouth, they are soft, slightly acidic and with some fruitiness.
