The Maria Gomes grape variety, predominant in the region, produced a white wine of great freshness and elegance, with a lively acidity that provides balance and longevity.

| Soil | Produced from manually harvested Maria Gomes grapes, sourced from vineyards with an average age of 15 years, located in Ventosa do Bairro at an altitude of 100 meters, with an average yield of 3.9 tons per hectare. |
| Winemaking | Fermentation took place partially in stainless steel over approximately five days, at a controlled temperature of 18°C, with the aim of not overly fixing the intense natural aromatic character of the Maria Gomes variety. The wine was then transferred to 500L untoasted barrels, where it remained for two and a half months with periodic bâtonnage. The choice of untoasted barrels was intended to preserve the grape’s natural aromas, avoiding the presence of pronounced oak notes. Afterwards, the wine returned to the tank, where bâtonnage continued for an additional two months, now at wider intervals. Both the time spent in barrel and the extended bâtonnage in stainless steel were focused on mouthfeel, providing greater structure, texture, and crispness. The wine was bottled in February 2025. |

Winemakers Pedro Miguel and Igor Lima started Beta Wines at the age of 24. Pedro has a degree in Viticulture, Oenology and Agronomy and has a strong connection with Bairrada, his homeland. As well as the vineyards and the wines, he values the local people and customs, which enriches his understanding of the region critically and methodically. Igor, who also has a degree in Viticulture and Oenology, has international experience, working with wines in France, Romania, New Zealand and Australia. He returned to Bairrada, where he was born and found it to be the wine profile he most identifies with.
What unites them goes beyond the daily tasks; they prioritise interpersonal relationships above all else and love the creative process, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of quality. They are here not just to produce wine but to share unique experiences and create memorable moments. Each one brings with them a unique set of talents, perspectives, and passions, resulting in a fusion of creativity that is reflected in every bottle.
