Ataíde Semedo led Quinta da Dôna that marked the history of Bairrada with classy reds like 1992, revealing with some prestigious producers in the area the potential of the Baga grape variety.
In 2005 he sold the farm to Caves Aliança and started a new project in São Mateus in the Anadia area, planting 5 hectare of vineyards - 3 hectare for red grapes: Baga, Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Pinot Noir and 2 hectre for white grapes: Bical, Cercial, Viognier, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc).
The vines are planted on clay-limestone soil, exposed to the South and Southwest, in a cool Atlantic area that provides excellent freshness ideal for the production of a precise and fine sparkling wine, a fragrant and full-bodied white made with the Viognier variety and firm reds. aromatics that mix Baga and Touriga Nacional or in a single variety, that express the purity of Baga.
